Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking an experienced diesel/CNG mechanic to repair and maintain our fleet. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure road-ready vehicles through inspections and diagnostics in a busy shop environment.

Responsibilities include test drives, DOT inspections, and maintaining safety standards. Strong attention to detail, communication with team and vendors, and adaptability to training opportunities are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA and related regulations.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
• Computer-literate and able to be trained in software systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain Diesel and CNG fleet under supervision.
• Perform inspections on brakes, engine components, emissions, steering, wheel bearings and related parts.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions and verify repairs.
