Job summary

GFL Industries in Florida seeks an experienced diesel and CNG maintenance technician to support our fleet's safety and road readiness. Under shop leadership, you will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles and their braking, emission, and electrical systems.

You will test drive trucks, complete DOT inspections, and manage work orders while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. CDL preferred; ASE certs welcomed and training opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining diesel and CNG vehicles.
• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read repair manuals and diagnostics.
• Must be able to communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain diesel and CNG fleet.
• Perform brake, engine, emission, steering, ABS inspections.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform DOT inspections and safety compliance tasks.
• Complete work orders and document parts and repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
