Job summary

Republic Services, a leader in environmental services, is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to diagnose multi-system issues and repair diesel and non-diesel trucks. You will work under supervision on chassis components, refuse bodies, braking systems, HVAC, suspension, drive train, and more, with opportunities for on-site and road service.

You will perform basic line welding, use electronic diagnostic tools, and participate in company training programs while supporting the fleet and drivers

Qualifications

Diagnose multi-system issues with technical expertise.
Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
3-5 years in a technician role with gasoline and diesel knowledge.
ASE certifications (T1-T8) are a plus; CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain chassis components and refuse bodies including hydraulic/electrical systems and air brakes.
Perform line maintenance welding and fabrication; on-site and road service when needed.
Identify malfunctions using electronic tools and complete required training.
Support drivers and maintain equipment to ensure safe operation.
