Job summary

Republic Services in Springfield, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair diesel and non-diesel equipment across chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical systems, brakes, engines, HVAC, suspension and steering. You will perform preventive maintenance, line welding, and occasional road service to keep the fleet on the road.

Candidates need 3–5 years in a technician role, ASE T1–T8 certifications are a plus, a valid driver’s license is required, and a willingness to learn new

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues and perform repairs.
• 3-5 years of technician experience required.
• ASE Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of vehicle components and systems and performs preventive maintenance.
• Repairs chassis components and refuse bodies, including hydraulic/electrical systems; and air/hydraulic braking systems.
• Light engine repair, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain and steering repairs.
• Provides safe road service when necessary to return equipment to operation.
