Job summary

The role requires DOT and brake inspections, interpretation of schematics, and mentoring junior mechanics. Strong diagnostic skills with diagnostic software and a commitment to safety are essential; CDL is preferred, and ASE certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining diesel and CNG fleets.
• Ability to interpret schematics and manuals.
• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations and safety rules.
• Proven track record mentoring junior mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and CNG powered trucks.
• Lead inspections of brake, engine, and emission systems.
• Coordinate repair schedules and write work orders.
• Perform DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles.
• Mentor level B and C mechanics and ensure safety compliance.
