Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as quality technician in HPDC or metal manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T using precision measuring tools.
• Must reside within 45 minutes of Cedarburg, WI.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components against customer and engineering specs.
• Verify conformance with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and CMM.
• Identify and contain defects (porosity, cold shuts, flash, misruns, dimensional nonconformances).
• Review drawings, GD&T requirements, control plans, and work instructions.
• Support root-cause investigations using 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto charts.
• Assist with audits, PPAP, FAI, capability studies, and gauge validations per ISO 9001 / IATF 16949.
