Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Oakland, CA is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) as CAP 1 in Outpatient services. This role focuses on starting point development and teamwork within the End Stage Kidney Disease care model.

You will assess, plan, and deliver hemodialysis care, document in patient records, and support patient education and training of staff. Nursing degree, state license, CPR/BLS, and willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential functions under supervision and with guidance from the Clinical Educator or RN Team Leader.
• Collects and analyzes patient data pre-, during-, and post-hemodialysis and updates the care plan.
• Provides patient/family education and documents learning needs.
• Delivers safe hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and documents effectiveness.
