Job summary

HonorHealth's Tempe Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Dialysis Inpatient team for the day shift. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality dialysis services.

The role requires 1 year of RN experience in Med/Surg or acute care, with dialysis experience preferred. A BSN is encouraged and on-the-job training is provided in a nonprofit health system serving the Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Med/Surg or acute specialty setting required.
• Dialysis experience preferred.
• Arizona RN licensure required or in-state eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, administer medications, and manage IV lines as needed.
• Document patient data and care plans accurately for continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to optimize dialysis care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Assist with orientation and precept new staff or students as needed.
