Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Phoenix is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with an adult patient at home who requires peritoneal dialysis. Shifts are Monday–Sunday, 2:00 pm–6:30 pm. Must have dialysis experience. You will plan, implement, and document care, administer medications, and coordinate with prescribers and family.

Requirements include a current RN license for the state, a health certificate, and BLS; approximately one year of RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have dialysis experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Initiates plan of care and collaborates with prescriber as patient status changes.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and coordinates education, care, and discharge planning as applicable.
