Job summary

Banner Health in Glendale, Arizona, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Dialysis Department. You will provide hemodialysis services to patients with diverse diagnoses, working three 12-hour shifts with 6AM or 9AM start times and rotating weekends.

The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and coordination of comprehensive nursing care in a high-volume setting. Arizona RN licensure and BLS are required; dialysis experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice; BLS required.
• Experience in dialysis or acute care bedside nursing is highly desirable.
• Professional nursing practice with documentation and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan care in collaboration with the health team.
• Formulate and update a care plan and discharge planning.
• Provide direct patient care per orders and nursing plan of care; supervise others as needed.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plan accordingly.
• Document assessments, plans, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage with patients, families, and other care providers to ensure safe, effective care.
