Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit-6W-Extended Observation on the night shift. The RN will apply nursing principles to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while coordinating with physicians and staff.

A sign-on bonus up to 10k is available. Responsibilities include administering medications, IV management, patient education and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing is required.
• BSN must be completed within 60 months of hire.
• RN license in the State of Arizona is required.
• National certification for unit-specific patient population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care guided by ANA Standards and Code of Ethics.
• Record medical history, administer medications, and manage IV lines as needed.
• Develop, implement and evaluate patient care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment and home care needs.

Education
