Job summary

Banner Health's Renal Dialysis-Hosp department in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide hemodialysis services in a busy, 21-bay kidney center.

You will collaborate with physicians, dialysis technicians, social workers and dietitians to deliver patient-centered care, with a 12-hour shifts pattern, rotate weekends and on-call.

This role requires current RN license, BLS, and acute care nursing experience; a $10,000 sign-on incentive is offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Dialysis experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan individualized nursing care.
• Provide hemodialysis according to physician orders and policy.
• Coordinate with dialysis team and care providers for patient progress.
• Document care activities and patient responses in the chart.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and discharge planning.
• Support quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
