Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP program to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, including education and collaboration with the care team.

The role requires completion of CAP requirements to advance, ongoing documentation in the medical record, and safe delivery of hemodialysis while supporting patient education and care transition planning.

Qualifications

• Entry-level RN CAP 1 designation in the Clinical Advancement Program.
• RN with basic nephrology and hemodialysis experience preferred.
• Active nursing licensure and CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care under supervision for assigned patients undergoing hemodialysis.
• Collect and analyze patient data before, during, and after treatment and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care and treatment options.
• Coordinate with care team to deliver safe, effective hemodialysis.
• Administer prescribed medications and document effectiveness.
• Assist with emergencies and participate in staff training.
• Ensure proper lab collection, processing, and documentation of results.
