Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient CAP program. You will assist with assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned dialysis patients, coordinating care with RNs, LVN/LPNs and patient care staff.

Responsibilities include data collection during hemodialysis, updating care plans, providing education to patients and families, and supporting staff under supervision. CPR/BLS certification and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current appropriate state licensure.
Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsabilités

Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with guidance from the Clinical Educator, Preceptor or in collaboration with other Registered Nurses.
Performs ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of patient data for hemodialysis treatment and documents in the medical record; adjusts plan as indicated and notifies leaders as needed.
Provides patient and family education and documents learning needs.
Directs and delivers safe and effective hemodialysis therapy for assigned patients in collaboration with staff.
