Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient CAP team. You will perform assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group, under supervision, and collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians to deliver dialysis care.

The role emphasizes education, safe delivery of hemodialysis, medication administration, and participation in quality improvement activities within the End Stage Kidney Disease care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and licensed as RN in the appropriate state.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Entry level with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing; dialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and document in medical record.
• Adjust treatment plan as indicated and notify supervisor as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care and treatment options.
• Provide safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis in collaboration with care team.
