Job summary

Dialyze Direct is seeking a Registered Nurse in Bronx, NY to join our team delivering dialysis care with a patient‑centered approach. The ideal candidate will work independently with strong critical‑thinking, while collaborating closely with nephrologists and facility staff to maintain high outcomes. Schedule: Monday–Friday, full‑time, day shift.

Requires NY RN license, BLS, 6 months RN and 3 months dialysis experience. Must lift up to 35 pounds; safety sensitive position.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in NY.
• 6 months RN experience preferred.
• 3 months hemodialysis experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to function at a high level with little oversight to provide nursing care, training, and home support (as needed).
• Works collaboratively with Dialyze Direct team members, skilled nursing home facility representatives and dedicated Nephrologists.
• Collects and records relevant patient health data in the course of/pre/post hemodialysis treatment.
• Develops and maintains a plan of care that describes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Implements and records interventions to attain expected outcomes in EMR.
• Performs laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures and reschedules missed or inadequate laboratory collections.
• Perform clerical tasks in addition to patient care (i.e., filing, inventory management, admission documentation, creating patient charts, etc.).
• Maintains a positive and respectful attitude to all patients and colleagues.
• Occasional travel to other nearby locations; and
• Medication administration and documentation.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour. *Based on experience.*

Compensation offers are based on education, experience, skills, and geographic region.
