Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Dialysis Program Manager to lead and advance our hemodialysis program within a hospital setting. You will Direct and organize the program, implement patient safety policies, and supervise dialysis staff to ensure high-quality care.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, engage with hospital management and the community, and help drive continuous improvement in patient outcomes while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure per state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• Preferred: CRRN certification.
• One year of inpatient hospital experience (preferred).
• One year of dialysis nursing experience (preferred).
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Flexible availability for weekday, weekend, and evening/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance of safe and effective hemodialysis following all applicable guidelines.
• Direct and organize the hospital’s hemodialysis program.
• Implement policies for safe and effective care.
• Supervise dialysis staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Represent the program within hospital management and community settings.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to communicate patient concerns and changes promptly.
