Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to contribute to dialysis treatment and patient monitoring. You will work under RN or Charge Nurse supervision, handling patient stats, initiating and terminating treatments, and ensuring safe operations of dialysis machines.

Responsibilities include machine prep, cleaning, disinfecting, safety checks, and adherence to all protocols. Requires CPR within 90 days and PCT certification within 18 months; prior dialysis or CNA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire or as state requirements dictate.
• Completion of USRC training program approved by Medical Director within 8 weeks of hire.
• PCT certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire date and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during dialysis to ensure safety and comfort.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis treatments and perform safety checks.
• Disinfect equipment after treatments and log quality control results.
• Monitor patients during treatment and collect samples per physician orders.
• Adhere to company policies and state/federal regulations; participate in meetings and trainings.
