Job summary

US Renal Care, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our dialysis team. You will directly assist patients with safe, high-quality dialysis care, including preparing and monitoring treatments, gathering stats, and supporting the RN/Charge Nurse.

Responsibilities include machine setup/cleanup, safety checks, adherence to policies, and participation in required trainings and meetings. CPR certification and state-approved PCT certification are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care during dialysis, including preparing, monitoring, and recording treatment.Collect patient data before and after treatment and follow physician orders.
• Prepare machines for hemodialysis, clean and disinfect equipment, and perform safety checks and logging.
