Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Nacogdoches, TX is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support ESRD patients and the dialysis team. The role includes a 3-month training program, hands-on patient care under RN supervision, and a commitment to infection control and safety.

Shifts are full-time, four 10-hour days starting at 5am, with Sundays off. The clinic offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive, mission-driven culture in a comfortable setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Role under RN supervision.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns.
• Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
• Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights.
• Maintain and track inventory.
• Perform laboratory work.
