Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the dialysis team in delivering prescribed treatments with a compassionate, patient‑centered approach. The role includes patient education, vital signs, and assisting with machine setup under RN supervision in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• CNA/EMT/Medical Assistant/CNT/phlebotomy skills desired.
• DCI provides a 3-month comprehensive education program including classroom sessions and hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Infection control and patient education participation.
• Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan.
• Record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Operate under RN supervision during dialysis.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patient condition and report concerns to charge nurse.
• Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight and adjust priorities.
