Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the dialysis treatment team in delivering high-quality patient care. The PCT role involves infection control, patient education, vital signs, and assisting with the dialysis workflow under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for coordinating patient care.
• Experience in healthcare settings and willingness to learn are valued.
• No prior dialysis experience required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and inform the charge nurse of concerns.
• Maintain patient privacy and track inventory.
