Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the dialysis care team in delivering prescribed treatments. The role emphasizes patient education, infection control, and maintaining a safe, compliant clinical environment.

The position is full-time with four 10-hour shifts starting early morning, Sundays off, and no overnight shifts. Training is provided, with competitive benefits and a mission-driven culture across 270+ clinics nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT and/or phlebotomy skills desired.
• Dialysis training program provided by DCI for 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities.
• Guide new patients through 120-day education plan.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
• Role under RN supervision.
• Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
• Insert and remove patient access needles.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns.
• Calculate patient’s weight loss to reach dry weight.
• Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
• Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights.
• Maintain and track inventory.
• Perform laboratory work.
