Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level RN for the Clinical Advancement Program in Wentzville, MO. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, including data collection, assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation during hemodialysis.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with the care team, and contribute to safe hemodialysis delivery. This role advances through CAP with ongoing education and team leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN designated into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP).
• Performs nursing duties including data collection, assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Delivers care for assigned patients and coordinates with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes patient data during pre-, intra-, and post-hemodialysis.
• Documents in the patient medical record and adjusts care plan as needed.
• Educates patients and families about learning needs.
• Delivers safe and effective hemodialysis therapy with the team.
• Administers medications as prescribed or via algorithm.
