Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Document data collection and updates in patient medical records; adjust care plan as indicated.
• Educate patients and families about care needs.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Provide emergency response support and staff training as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on care and transplant options.
• Ensure proper lab collection and processing; reschedule missed labs.
• Delegate tasks to RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians as appropriate.
