Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in Austin, TX to lead dialysis unit operations and ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care. You will collaborate with management to direct nursing staff, drive performance, and uphold the organization’s mission and values.

You will influence staff through scheduling, training, and policy implementation while maintaining patient safety and service excellence in a fast and demanding environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN (Registered Nurse) license required.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in the unit, with the management team.
• Collaborate with managers to create a teamwork environment for improved outcomes and service.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalize nursing strategies (e.g., rounds) to improve engagement.
• Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; support performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and assist with supplies and equipment management.
