Job summary

Satellite Healthcare in Austin, TX is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to assist with the management and operation of the dialysis clinic. This role covers the clinic in the Administrator's absence, ensuring smooth daily operations and patient care.

You will coordinate clinical and operational processes, plan patient scheduling, and monitor staffing. The position requires leadership, adherence to quality standards, and efficient documentation across departments.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state.
• 12 months experience in providing nursing care, including 3 months of experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Demonstrated ability to function in a leadership position and to perform in new and emergent situations with sound judgment.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management and operation of clinic and cover in the absence of the Administrator.
• Assist with planning/coordinating patient scheduling to ensure timely acceptance of patients and effective staffing levels.
• Update logs and ensure dialysis run sheets and logs are sent to billing.
• Meet patient care and operational needs of the clinic.
• Coordinate functions of all departments and develop standards for evaluating patient care services.
• Maintain documentation in patient records of treatments and communications.
• Promote quality management through education and involvement of staff and patients.
• Review incident reports and participate in QAPI meetings.
• Assist with development and follow up of Corrective Action Plans and surveys.
• Commit to regulatory compliance and safety in the clinic.
