Job summary
HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Cardiac Telemetry in Austin, TX. You will lead nursing care delivery on the unit, collaborate with the management team, and drive initiatives to improve patient outcomes and experience.
The CNC role emphasizes coordination, staff development, and adherence to policies while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during the shift. A current RN license and ACLS/BLS credentials are required.
Qualifications
- RN license required.
- ACLS within 1 year of start date.
- BLS within 30 days of start date.
- Associate/Bachelor/Master RN degree required or diploma.
Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing care quality in collaboration with management.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to improve patient outcomes and service.
- Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
- Lead nursing strategies like hourly rounds and staff engagement initiatives.
- Participate in interviewing, training, and performance management actions.
