Job summary

Satellite Healthcare in Merced, CA is seeking a Clinical Coordinator RN to manage clinic operations in the absence of the Administrator. You will oversee dialysis services, coordinate patient scheduling, and optimize staffing and supplies to improve patient outcomes.

You will work with the Medical Director and staff to maintain documentation, logs, and compliance with ESRD networks and Medicare, lead quality improvement initiatives, and mentor personnel.

Qualifications

• RN license in applicable state.
• 12 months nursing experience including 3 months dialysis experience.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish colors.
• Leadership capability and sound judgment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Basic computer skills; MS Office; proficiency in clinical applications within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations and missed treatments.
• Assist with planning/coordinating patient scheduling to assure timely acceptance and staffing levels.
• Demonstrate effective use of supplies and labor hours; update logs and dialysis run sheets for billing.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary departments and document patient care chronologically for ESRD/Medicare compliance.
• Promote quality management through staff and patient education and outcomes.
• Attend and participate in meetings with leadership and staff; ensure records and reports are current.
