Job summary

Innovative Renal Care in Goshen, NY is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support ESRD patients during dialysis. You will monitor patients before, during, and after treatment, measure and record vital stats, assist with cannulation and patient observations, and help set up hemodialysis equipment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a passion for patient care, and current BONENT/NNCC/NNCO (or state-approved) certification, plus BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Desire to care for people and be comfortable working around blood and needles.
• Current certification from BONENT, NNCC, or NNCO or state-approved equivalent for PCTs.
• Experienced PCTs are required to have current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis; record stats.
• Initiate cannulation and perform patient observations.
• Set up hemodialysis machines and assist during treatment.
