Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Duluth, MN is seeking an entry-level Professional Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 designation. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, assess and plan for an assigned group of patients, and collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians.

You will participate in education, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and may delegate tasks while adhering to policy and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification (current or active).
• Entry level RN with <2 years nephrology experience; dialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential nursing functions under supervision and guidance.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis and adjusts treatment plans as needed.
• Educates patients and families about care and treatment options.
• Administers medications per protocol and documents outcomes.
• Ensures safety and quality through teamwork and adherence to policy.
