Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 track. You will coordinate and provide clinically competent care for dialysis patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation under supervision.

Collaboration with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and technicians is expected to ensure safe and effective therapy. The role emphasizes education, adherence to policy and regulatory standards, and ongoing professional development to advance CAP requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure.
• CPR BLS certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care for dialysis patients and collaborate with the health care team.
• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care for assigned patients.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to Patient Care Technicians, LPNs/LVNs and RNs as needed.
• Document data in the patient record and communicate with team leaders and physicians.
• Administer medications per prescribed protocol and respond to emergencies.
