WH Wheeling Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Sonographer Level I to perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound imaging and related patient care in the Radiology Department. Licensure in RDMS or ARRT is required, plus BLS within 30 days of hire.

Candidates should have at least one year of registered sonographer experience and be prepared for a career ladder through ARDMS or ARRT certifications, with strong teamwork and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in RDMS or ARRT with BLS within 30 days of hire.
• At least one year of registered sonographer experience.
• Specialty certifications through ARDMS or ARRT are encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Plans and performs imaging procedures to produce diagnostic ultrasound images for patient care.
• Reviews the physician’s request and consults with the sonologist or referring physician when needed.
• Produces images of optimal quality.
• Maintains confidentiality of all Protected Health Information.
• Educates patients regarding sonographic procedures and answers questions.
• Promotes teamwork with radiology staff, nursing, residents and medical personnel.
