• Plans and performs imaging procedures to produce sonographic images for diagnosis or treatment.
• Maintains professional and technical competencies as required by the organization and licensing bodies.
• Reviews physician requests and clarifies details with the sonologist or referring physician before performing the study.
• Produces images of optimal quality.
• Maintains confidentiality of all Protected Health Information.
• Educates patients regarding sonographic procedures and answers questions.
