Job summary

Wheeling Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures across multiple diagnostic areas, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. This role requires state licensure, ARRT certification within six months of graduation, and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, protocol adherence, and collaboration with the radiology team to provide efficient, compassionate care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess current Radiography License as required by state board where services will be provided
• Registered Radiography Technologist by ARRT within six months of graduation (MD/OH/PA/WV)
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire
• State and Federal background checks as required

Responsibilities

• Rotate in all Diagnostic areas to develop technical skills (Fluoro, Mobiles, Routine, OR, Endoscopy, Orthopedics)
• Perform image procedures based on patient assessment and imaging protocols
• Produce high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure
• Explain procedures to patients and educate them about radiographic processes
• Coordinate daily workflow and supervise/educate radiology students as needed
