Job summary

Our Company, physician-led and patient-centric, seeks a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our multispecialty care team. You will obtain essential information from patients and records, perform ultrasound scans, and provide direct patient care as needed after study confirmation.

You will rotate to different locations, communicate differentials to interpreting physicians, and generate accurate reports for review. Proficiency in DM Sonography and ARDMS RDMS registration is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• Active RDMS registry with ARDMS.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain essential information from patients, medical records and prior exams for clinical correlation.
• Perform ultrasound scans and provide direct patient care as needed after study confirmation.
• Communicate differentials to interpreting physicians.
• Generate accurate reports for physicians’ review.
• Verify proper documentation in the ultrasound reporting system.
• Ensure each room is stocked and prepared for smooth daily patient flow.
• Assist with sterile ultrasound-guided procedures as directed by the MD.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and safety for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and report any deficiencies for corrective action.
• Provide back-up coverage for unscheduled PTO or callouts.
