Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients, providing immobilization devices, shielding, selecting proper technical factors based on individual patient needs.
• Select and operate equipment as required for specific procedures.
• Uses consistent and appropriate techniques to gather information and prepare scanning protocols with patient safety in mind.
• Performs portable x-ray examinations in patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency rooms.
• Identifies patient images with name and MRN#, and correctly marks sides.
• Maintains x-ray room, orders supplies, and prepares radiopaque contrast media when needed.
• Performs administrative tasks related to scheduling, instruction, records, and reception.
