Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients and selecting proper technical factors.
• Follows ALARA principles to restrict radiation beam and ensure patient safety.
• Performs portable x-ray examinations in patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency rooms.
• Identifies patient images with name and MRN# and marks laterality correctly.
• Performs administrative duties related to scheduling appointments, patient instructions, and records.
