Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to obtain diagnostic radiographic examinations with patient positioning, shielding, and proper technical factors.

The role requires ARRT certification and a New Jersey Diagnostic Radiology license, excellent communication, and proficiency with EPIC, PACS, and other radiology systems. You will work within our Radiology Department, adhering to ALARA principles and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Certification and NJ Diagnostic Radiology license.
• BLS/CPR or HCP certification within 60 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients and selecting factors.
• Adheres to ALARA and ensures patient safety.
• Performs portable x-ray examinations in various departments.
• Maintains orderly x-ray room and supplies.
• Handles scheduling, patient instruction, and administrative duties.
