Cape Fear Valley Interventional Pain Specialists in Fayetteville, NC, seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic/fluoroscopy procedures for diagnostic purposes. You will assess patients, prepare them for procedures, and ensure privacy and comfort while maintaining safety protocols.

Role requires ARRT registration, an associate degree in Radiologic Sciences, and willingness to obtain ARRT Radiography within 12 months if registries are not yet complete.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences required.
• ARRT (Radiography) registration required.
• Registry eligible must obtain ARRT Radiography within 12 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform all procedures designated with the Diagnostic Section of Radiology.
• Assess patient, review physician orders or charts as appropriate.
• Prepare patient for the procedure and address questions.
• Minimize discomfort during radiographic exams and ensure patient privacy.
• Record exam start/end times in RIS for timely radiologist access.
• Provide a safe environment per radiation and infection control guidelines.
• Comply with Radiation Protection Plan including shielding and dosimeter use.
• Monitor timeliness and quality of care against department goals.
• QA exams before sending to radiologist for interpretation.
• Submit work orders for Clinical Technology Services when equipment is down.
• Other duties as assigned.
