Job summary

Qualifications

• Accredited radiologic sciences program completed.
• ARRT registration in Radiography required.
• New graduates must register within 12 months of hire.
• Two years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures as designated.
• Assess patient and review orders or charts as appropriate.
• Prepare patient, answer questions or refer to radiologist.
• Minimize discomfort and protect patient privacy.
• Record exam times accurately in RIS for access by radiologist.
• Maintain safe environment per protection plans and infection control.
• Follow shielding and dosimeter usage per Radiation Protection Plan.
• Monitor timeliness and quality of care against dept goals.
• Perform QA of exams before sending to radiologist.
• Submit work orders for equipment issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
