Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences from an accredited program.
• ARRT (Radiography) registration required.
• Registry eligible must be registered within 12 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic/fluoroscopy procedures for diagnosis.
• Assess patient and review orders or charts as needed.
• Prepare patient, answer questions, and reference radiologist.
• Minimize patient discomfort and maintain privacy during exams.
• Record exam times accurately in RIS for timely access.
• Maintain safe environment: radiation protection, infection control, and PPE.
• Adhere to shielding and dosimeter usage per Radiation Protection Plan.
• Monitor exam timeliness and quality of care against department goals.
• QA exams: correct order, annotations, laterality, and state before interpretation.
• Submit work orders for equipment issues and perform other duties as assigned.
