Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Sciences required; ARRT registration required.
• New graduates must complete ARRT registration within 12 months of hire.
• 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures as part of diagnostic radiology.
• Assess patient and review orders or charts; prepare patient for procedures.
• Explain procedures, answer questions, maintain patient privacy and comfort.
• Minimize discomfort during exams and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Accurately record exam times in the RIS for radiologist access.
• Maintain radiation safety, infection control, and Universal Precautions.
• Ensure timely exam completion and quality of care; monitor workflow against department goals.
• Perform QA checks on exams (annotation, laterality, presentation).
• Submit work orders when equipment is down; perform other duties as assigned.
