Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
  • Must possess current Radiography License per state where services will be provided (MD, OH, PA, WV varies).
  • Must be nationally certified as defined by location (ARRT) within required timeframe.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
  • State and Federal background checks as required.

Responsibilities

  • Rotates in all diagnostic areas to develop technical skills.
  • Performs radiographic procedures based on patient assessment and imaging protocols.
  • Produces high-quality images using imaging systems and appropriate exposure factors.
  • Educates patients regarding radiographic procedures and answers questions.
  • Promotes teamwork among radiology staff and other departments.
