Job summary

WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist Level I to perform imaging and patient care within the Radiology Department. The role requires rotation across diagnostic areas and adherence to imaging protocols to ensure patient safety and high-quality results.

Qualifications include ARRT Radiography registration, state licensure as applicable, and BLS within 30 days of hire. At least one year of radiologic technologist experience is expected, with employment at 36

Qualifications

• Must possess current Radiography license as required by state board where services will be provided.
• Registered by the ARRT in Radiography.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• State criminal background check and Federal checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Rotates in all Diagnostic areas for development of technical skills.
• Performs image procedures based on assessment and imaging protocols.
• Produces high quality images with proper exposure factors.
• Minimizes radiation exposure to self and patients using shielding and proper technique.
• Maintains anatomy, physiology, and pathology knowledge relevant to imaging.
• Educates patients regarding radiographic procedures.
• Supports team approach within Radiology services.

Radiography license (state-specific)

ARRT Radiography Registration

BLS within 30 days of hire

State background check & federal check as required

One year radiologic technologist experience

WV Radiography License (WV Board)

Maryland/Ohio licensure (as applicable)

Pennsylvania license not required
