Job summary

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
  • Registered Radiography Technologist upon hire.
  • ARRT certification required or obtained within specified timeframe.
  • Licensure as required by the state where services are provided.

Responsibilities

  • Rotates through all Diagnostic areas to develop technical skills (Fluoro, Mobiles, Routine, OR, Endoscopy, Orthopedics).
  • Performs imaging studies based on patient assessment, service requests, and protocols.
  • Produces high-quality images with proper exposure factors and minimal radiation.
  • Educates patients about radiographic procedures and answers questions.
  • Maintains safety via shielding, collimation, and dose optimization.
  • Supports team with workflows and continuous quality improvements.
  • Supervises students in clinical settings per policy.
