Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Physician Account Executive to grow current business and secure new opportunities in diagnostics. The role covers South Austin, Blanco, San Marcos, Leander and surrounding areas as a field-based position.

Key duties include pre-call planning, securing new business, supporting both new and existing accounts, and coordinating with the Physician Account Manager on complex issues. A Bachelor's degree and five years’ sales experience are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and general economics of business.
• Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships; strong planning and organizational skills.
• Laboratory/Diagnostics sales experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Solid PC skills including Microsoft Software.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through pre-call planning, post-call analysis and consistent follow-up.
• Target and secure new business.
• Provide support and expertise to new and existing accounts.
• Increase discretionary business through insurance access.
• Partner with Physician Account Manager on complex issues or when in-person or extensive service is required.
• Provide immediate support for less complex issues.
• Leverage tools and resources as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of connectivity products.
• Prepare and present proposals and bids.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Complete all administrative tasks promptly.
