Qualifications

• Basic medical terminology knowledge required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar.
• Typing speed 40 wpm or faster with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and schedule tests.
• Provide pre-certification and ABN’s as required.
• Enter patient data and maintain case logs.
• Coordinate test results and post-discharge follow-up surveys.
• Assist with unit scheduling and room bookings.
• Generate reports for CQI & KPI initiatives.
• Communicate with referring providers about patient services.
• Support department managers and coverage in their absence.
