Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Diabetes Clinical Educator (DCE) to deliver training and ongoing support for patients using MiniMed products. This field-based role covers the New York/Long Island/New Jersey Region, with in-person and virtual education and proactive patient outreach.

The ideal candidate will hold a CDCES, RN, RD, PA, NP, or Pharmacist license and have an associate’s degree with clinical experience or a bachelor’s degree with no experience.

Qualifications

• Valid registered license in one or more of the following fields: CDCES, RN, RD, PA, NP, Pharmacist.
• Associate’s Degree and 2 years of clinical experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree and 0 years of experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or on-call on occasion.
• Bilingual - English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates individual and group education—both in-person and virtually—on MiniMed products, including webinars and trainings.
• Provides ongoing patient educational support through calls and proactive outreach to patients at risk for therapy attrition.
• Coordinates and plans group trainings and events with territory teams and training goals, including logistics and follow-up.
• Submits training documents within 48 hours of session completion.
• Collaborates with territory teams on therapy changes and patient-related topics for follow-up with healthcare professionals.
