Job summary

Fluke Health Solutions in Everett, WA seeks a DFX Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturability and cost improvements across NPI and sustaining products. You will partner with design, operations, supply chain, and quality to influence early designs and accelerate time to market.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong Lean skills, and experience with complex electro-mechanical assemblies in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; 5–8+ years in manufacturing engineering.
• Proven experience influencing product design for manufacturability and cost.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and structured problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead DFX reviews (DFM, DFA, DFT, DFSC, DFR) across the product lifecycle to ensure manufacturability and supply chain robustness.
• Develop, qualify, and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and work instructions; drive Cp/Cpk and yield improvements.
• Coordinate with Test Engineering to align production test strategies with DFX objectives and validate test solutions in manufacturing lines.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives including value engineering and design optimization; improve first-pass yield and OEE.
• Drive Kaizen and Lean transformations, implement standard work and visual management.
